Pontoon boats, sun sets, bass tournaments and wholesome community living… you found one of the best keep secrets in the Atlanta area!
In the 1940s, the community of Lake Jodeco was part of an 800 acre residential development project by Atlanta dentist, Dr. Walter Spivey. The lake itself was created in 1947. Its name was derived out of the Jonesboro Development Corp., an organization formed by Dr. Spivey and several associates. Our homeowners association was formed in 1969, and the deed to Lake Jodeco was transferred to the association's ownership in 1975.
The mission of our Lake Jodeco Homeowners Association is to encourage, promote and foster the preservation and restoration of wildlife, fish and natural resources. We will maintain and operate the Lake for fishing and other recreation for its members.
